FAQs

Why should I use Culture Expeditions services?

At Culture Expeditions we care about you, our guest.

Plan nothing, enjoy everything. We take care of all of the logistics so that you can have more time to do what’s most important: relax, enjoy the experience, and have fun!

Are the tours suitable for me?

Our cultural adventures are planned with reasonably paced itineraries, incredible attention to detail, and the right mix of fun, learning, and challenge that ensure a memorable vacation. Whether explore the ruins of Petra or climb to the top of Mt Olympus, you’ll experience firsthand the cultures and environments of the region you are visiting. And after a long day of touring, we ensure you a comfortable night’s rest in deluxe accommodations from regional inns to 5 star resorts.

In keeping with our adventurous spirit, Culture Expeditions is constantly seeking innovative new trips throughout our beautiful planet. You will always find an array of new trips to exotic locales in our trip list in addition to the classic tours for which we are renowned.

How many participants?

Our groups are intentionally kept small—usually less than 15 people—to allow you a more intimate experience with the people and cultures you encounter on your tour. With such a small number of people, we can take advantage of many unexpected invitations and opportunities that would be impossible with larger groups.

Is it safe?

We usually go to safe destinations. Some countries though face safety and security issues. We always keep with the latest warnings and we are constantly in touch with the local police and tourism institutions. We always choose the safest routes and avoid dangerous locations.

Concerning outdoors adventures, safety record is unparalleled (good to know if you’re stepping into a cage for a great white shark adventure or planning to trek in the Pindos range).

What about food and water?

Food is always of very good quality. If you have specific needs (vegan etc), you have to notify it in advance. Please have in mind that in remote areas and especially during trekking adventures food of certain kind (e.g. kosher) is hard to obtain. Bottled water is widely available, but most guests drink the tap water if in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

What about insurance?

According to the E.U. law all travelers must be covered by insurance which is always included in the price of any of Culture Expeditions tours. If you have any questions, please contact us for more details.

How do I book?
